Description
NYCO GREASE GN 07 is a high-temperature synthetic grease that is particularly well-suited for use in aviation applications. It is a clay-thickened NLGI 2 grease, formulated with a highly thermostable polyol ester base, which has a viscosity of 5 cSt at 100°C. This grease is enhanced with specific high-temperature antioxidants and possesses strong extreme-pressure properties.
Its key application includes providing excellent load-carrying stability in anti-friction bearings, particularly in situations involving high thrust loads and temperatures up to +180°C. Additionally, NYCO GREASE GN 07 offers good water resistance, making it an effective choice as a wheel bearing grease for aircraft that experience high landing speeds.
This grease complies with NATO Code G-361 and DCSEA 361/B (ex- AIR 4207), and was formerly compliant with MIL-G-25760 (now obsolete).
