Description

NYCO GREASE GN 17 is a versatile and high-performance grease, specifically designed for aircraft applications. This grease is a soft NLGI 2 grade product, formulated based on synthetic diester oil and thickened with lithium soap. It is also enhanced with 5% molybdenum disulphide as a solid lubricant, which contributes to its effectiveness.

The grease is further fortified with anti-corrosion, antioxidant, and anti-wear additives, making it well-suited for various challenging environments encountered in aviation. Its applications include general airframe purposes like lubrication of doors, flaps, and landing gear. Additionally, it is effective for shock-loading bearings and rollers, and for parts in sliding motion where the presence of solid lubricants is beneficial.

NYCO GREASE GN 17 can operate in a wide temperature range, from -73°C to +121°C, offering reliable performance under varying climatic conditions. This product complies with several specifications, including MIL-G-21164D, and is available in multiple packaging options like 400gm cartridges and 1Kg cans, catering to different operational needs.
